Two ULFA Men Surrenders under Lekhapani Police station in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: A joint team of Tinsukia police, and personnel of the 210 Cobra, 68 battalions of the CRPF, 9 Raj Rif and 21 Para (SF) trapped two ULFA men in the Wara area under Lekhapani police station in Tinsukia district on Thursday. The two militants – Pranjal Katoki of Dibrugarh district and Bijit Kanti Baruah of Bordumsa in Tinsukia district – later laid down arms. Two MQ-81 AK series assault rifles, two AK series magazines, and 40 live cartridges were recovered from them.
