Assam: Investigation into Sonapur land scam

GUWAHATI: The Sonapur Revenue Circle is conducting an on-the-spot investigation into the alleged purchase of a huge plot of land contiguous to Zubeen Garg’s Samadhi Kshetra by companies associated with Minister Ashok Singal. The local people question how the associates of the minister could buy the land at Komarkuchi non-cadastral village.
