Incidentally, the SAMARTH portal for admission into the four-year UG courses and five-year integrated Masters programmes across all government, private, provincialised, PDUAM, government model colleges and state universities in the state was opened for registration on April 11. Students are required to register and complete their profiles starting April 11. After the declaration of the Class 12 results, students have to select their preferred institutions and programs. Institutions are required to prepare and upload their prospectus in PDF format by May 5. There is no registration fee or any charges for accessing the prospectus on the portal. Students are to pay the prescribed admission fees, as per the uniform fees structure approved by the Assam government, for regular courses and have to pay the actual fees for self-financed courses as applicable.
