Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister took part in the traditional rituals and extended greetings to the devotees observing the festival. The people belonging to local Bihari community warmly welcomed him, and he spent time interacting with the people, sharing in the festive spirit of devotion and unity.

Chhath Puja, dedicated to the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya, is celebrated with great enthusiasm across Assam, symbolising faith, gratitude and harmony.
