HSLC 2025 Results: Top 3 Rankers Aspire to Be Good Human Beings

HSLC 2025 toppers Amishi Saikia, Saptarswa Bordoloi, and Anirban Borgohain expressed their desire to serve humanity and be responsible citizens, regardless of their future careers.

Guwahati: The students achieving the top three ranks in the HSLC exam 2025, namely Amishi Saikia, Saptarswa Bordoloi and Anirban Borgohain, said they want to be good citizens and engage themselves in the service of humanity, irrespective of the fields in which they are employed in the future.

Amishi Saikia, a student of Pragya Academy, Jorhat, who secured the top position with an impressive total of 591 marks (98.5%), said, “My dream is to be a good human being. I have not yet decided the field I will work in. In the future, I will work earnestly and for the sake of humanity. My preparation for the exam was not aimed at securing the first rank but at doing well. There was no fixed time for studies, and my parents didn’t pressurise me but inspired me to study well.” Her hobbies are singing, dancing and painting.

Saptarswa Bordoloi from Assam Jatiya Vidyalaya, Guwahati, who claimed the second position with 590 marks (98.33%), said, “My aspiration is to be a good citizen and doctor. The formula for success is studying properly and regularly. I tried to imbibe the learning I acquired in school.”

 Anirban Borgohain, from Pragya Academy, Jorhat, who achieved the third rank with 589 marks (98.17%), said, “My dream is to become a good doctor and provide service to the people. I didn’t have a special time for studies but studied to the extent my mind told me to.” His hobbies are playing the guitar and watching football. His favourite player is Lionel Messi.
