Rahul Gandhi Arrives in Guwahati to Pay Tribute to Late Singer Zubeen Garg

Guwahati: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, arrived at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati on Friday to honor the late Assamese singer and cultural icon Zubeen Garg.

After his arrival, Gandhi proceeded to Sonapur, on the outskirts of Guwahati, to pay his respects at Garg’s Samadhi Khetra. The visit is part of the ongoing tributes for the 52-year old artist, who tragically passed away on September 19 in Singapore.
