Amazon Godown Theft Case: Telangana Police booked Four from Nagaon, Operation On

Nagaon: Based on an input from Nagaon Police, Cyberabad Metropolitan Police on Wednesday arrested four people for allegedly looting at least 120 mobile handsets worth Rs 15 lakh from Amazon Godown in Cyberabad under Telangana State.

Speaking to the media, Superintendent of Police, Nagaon Police, Sankarbrata Rai Medhi informed that under the aegis of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Srinivas a team from Telangana's Cyberabad Metropolitan Police visited places under the Samuguri Police Station, Nagaon Police Station and Puranigodam Police Outpost and arrested the mastermind in the Amazon Godown theft case.

The accused identified as Siraj Ahmed was working as a security guard at Amazon godown in Cyberabad of Telangana state.

It may be mentioned that the godown was used by Amazon Company to store their gadgets including other stuff.

Telangana Police also arrested Mokibul Rahman, Mun Ahmed, Abdul Mallik who reported to be other accomplices of Siraj Ahmed and were involved in the above-mentioned theft case in Cyberabad.

All the accused have been booked under section 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code and will be produced at Cyberabad Court tomorrow, informed the Superintendent of Police, Nagaon, Sankarbrata Rai Medhi.

Meanwhile, SP Medhi also informed that the Telangana Police will be continuing their operation as there other suspects in connection to the case.
