Deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal Holds Crucial Meeting on Aadhar Enrollment in Guwahati

Guwahati: An important meeting on Aadhar enrollment in the Kamrup Metropolitan District was held on Friday at Conference Hall of DC’s office. Deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal in his speech asked the verifier and technical persons to work with due diligence in the exercises of Aadhar enrollment.

He also emphasized in the adequate power supply, net connection, availability of Stationary and Furniture to be supplied in the 42 proposed Aadhar Centres in the district. “We have to be the role model for rest of Assam in this regard,” said DC Virendra Mittal.

In the presence of CEO Zila Parishad, Nodal Officer of Aadhar Card enrolment in the district and Additional Deputy Commissioner Gunajit Kashyap, Officials from APDCL, BSNL and Banks, 42 verifiers and 42 numbers of technical supervisor the procedure of work to be done in the Aadhar Centre for the forthcoming Aadhar enrolment exercise in the district was also discussed in the meeting.

It is worth mentioning that 22 Aadhar enrolment centres in the rural area and 20 number of Aadhar enrolment centres in the metro area are being set up in the various locations in the district.
