Guwahati: Massive fire broke out today in Guwahati's Bakrapara area today in the evening hours.
At least 10 houses at Satyabala road of Bakrapara completely gutted down in the fire incidence.
Reportedly, the fire broke out at the residence of one identified as Niranjan Malakar.
Also, local people informed that the large and intense fire started to spread out to the other nearby houses destroying properties worth lakhs.
The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet by the police.
Later, firefighters reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
No casualties have been reported so far.
