Dastardly attack on minor girls continues in India as per recent report the body of a seven-year-old girl was discovered in a gunny bag on the roof of a mosque in Muradnagar town in Ghaziabad on Sunday.
The girl went missing from her house at around 1 pm on Saturday last. As informed by Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said her family lodged a complaint at Murad Nagar police station.
A man who went to the roof of the mosque where he spotted in the gunny bag at around 6.30 am.
The man after seeing the girl’s body inside and instantly informed her family and the neighbours.
The girl's father and police immediately reached the spot after receiving the information, said the SSP. He also added that the girl was strangled to death and her body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
The girl's father charged the local councilor, Azaaz Baig, of killing his daughter owing to political rivalry. The girl's maternal uncle had contested the civic body elections against Azaaz Baig.
SSP Krishna further informed that an FIR has been lodged against Azaaz Baig and investigation is going on.
