GUWAHATI: Amid the wave of massive protests and discussions, the grizzly mob lynching incident in Karbi Anglong has scraped fresh wounds in the heart of a lamenting father Haren Saikia who recollected his misery when his 21-year-old son Jhankar Saikia was killed in a similar incident in Karbi Anglong in 2013.
Jhankar lost his life for a mere Rs 10 which instigated an unruly mob of autorickshaw drivers who had beaten him to death. Saikia in an FB post expressed his heart-wrenching experience and extended sympathy for the bereaved families of the two youth killed recently by an irate mob.
