Lok Sabha Polls 2019: Congress Party’s only hope Rest upon Pradyut Bordoloi, Gaurav Gogoi and Abdul Khaleque

Guwahati: The people of Assam have been witnessing a neck-to-neck fight between Congress and BJP candidates from three prime Lok Sabha constituencies of Assam namely Barpeta, Nagaon and Kaliabor.

The margin of votes between the candidates keeps on fluctuating every minute, thus, giving the supporters a nail-biting experience.

As per the latest report, Gaurav Gogoi for Indian National Congress is leading by 675237 votes with 54.1% polling percentage against Moni Madhab Mahanta of Asom Gana Parishad is trailed by 516910 votes with 42.34%.

In Nagaon, Pradyut Bordoloi of Indian National Congress is leading by 579361 votes with 51.32% polling percentage.

On the other hand, BJP candidate Rupak Sharma is trailing by 526383 votes with 46.63% polling percentage.

Also, in Barpeta, Abdul Khaleque for Indian National Congress has been leading by 499354 votes over Kumar Deepak Das of Asom Gana Parishad who is now trailing by 428979 votes.
