Nagaland Health Mission Employees go on Strike

Kohima: National Health Mission Employees Association Nagaland (NEAN) Thursday joined the one-day nationwide strike called by All India National Health Mission Employees Association (AINHMEA)as an attempt to draw the attention of the government to address their long-standing demands.

The demands include equal work equal pay; basic service benefit for NHM employees; framing and implementation of HR policy as per GoI guidelines; regularization of service.

As part of the 12-hour strike, NHM employees across the state cease work and staged a demonstration.
