Nagaon: Several Organisations Extend Financial Support to CM’s Flood Relief Fund

Guwahati: Several organisations and institutions in Nagaon have extended financial assistance to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support ongoing flood relief operations in Assam. The Assam government shared the update on social media, highlighting contributions from various organisations towards relief efforts for flood-affected families.

The Nagaon District Medicine Dealers Association contributed Rs 1 lakh, while the Nagaon Diagnostic Establishment Association donated Rs 50,000 to the relief fund. The Teachers’ Association of Nagaon Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School also extended financial support of Rs 10,500.

The contributions are aimed at strengthening relief and rehabilitation efforts for families affected by the ongoing floods across the state.

The Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed gratitude to the organisations and institutions for their support and described the contributions as meaningful assistance for flood-affected families.

The government has continued to appeal to people , organisations and institutions to contribute to relief efforts and support communities affected by the floods.
