*Note: Several questions might arise in our mind like "Whether is it illegal for an Indian woman to elope after marriage with her lover, if the woman was forced (persuaded) to marry in the first place? How can she rectify the situation and unite with her lover?"

In such kind of situation, research reports in the internet says that a woman should get a divorce legally from her husband.

Research reports also states that the best way to get separated is to file a divorce. A woman may persuade her husband to file for it if he knows that you are with someone else. Basically, its upto the woman and she has to decide whom she can trust and who can pose as a threat.
