Sentinel Digital Desk

Jim Y Kim, President, World Bank, has advised Pakistan govt. to not to take the Kishanganga dam dispute to ICA, and accept India’s proposal of neutral expert’s appointment. Pakistan had opposed dam’s construction assuming it to violate Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) of sharing water from Indus and tributaries. India believes IWT permits constructing hydel projects that don’t alter the course of river & reduce the water level.
