Silchar: Chotto Prochesta NGO is once again in the news for making an out-of-the-box contribution towards the society. Two persons who are living in extreme hardship and financial crisis, Swapan Paul of Saratpally, Silchar, and Gopal Paul of Lokenath Sarani, Silchar, both suffering from low and dimming eye vision, were freely operated, treated and provided medicines by the NGO.
They were treated by Dr Sudeep Chanda of Vision Care Hospital located here at Premtala recently. Sandeep Chanda, advisor, Chotto Prochesta, took the initiative and made sure that both Swapan Paul and Gopal Paul, the only bread winners of their families, got the best treatment possible. Other members of the NGO, Rajib Choudhury and Sharmila Choudhury, expressed their gratefulness towards the doctor and also Vision Care Hospital.
