GUWAHATI: Two women were injured after they were hit by a moving train at Hatisila, Chandrapur on the outskirts of Guwahati on Monday evening.
According to sources, Jabeda Khatun and Hamida Khatun – both brick kiln workers– were hit by a moving train while they were trying to cross the railway tracks. They were shifted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where they succumbed to their injuries at night.
