GUWAHATI: The Basistha police seized 235 kg of ganja from a truck and arrested two persons in this connection on Friday night.
Police sources identified the two arrested persons as Kapil Deo Rai and Ramesh Kumar, both from Bihar. Rai and Kumar were the driver and handyman of the truck (UP 51AT 8452). The ganja was being brought from Tripura via Meghalaya for transportation to Uttar Pradesh, the sources said.
