The Northeast International Documentary and Film Festival will be held from December 13-15, 2025, in Guwahati, featuring competitive categories, masterclasses, and cultural showcases.

GUWAHATI: The Northeast International Documentary and Film Festival (NIDFF) is back with its much-anticipated 3rd season! Set to take place from December 13 to 15, 2025, at the iconic Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio, Guwahati, NIDFF continues to be a prestigious platform celebrating global and local filmmaking while showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Northeast India.

Organized by Redcardinal Motion Pictures and AGCS Akhara Ghar Cine Society, NIDFF has emerged as a beacon for filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and industry professionals, fostering creative exchange and storytelling excellence.

With a mission to preserve Northeast India’s cultural heritage, promote film tourism, and support emerging filmmakers, NIDFF serves as a bridge between regional storytelling and the global film industry.

Filmmakers worldwide can now submit their work and avail the early-bird discount until June 30, 2025. The final submission deadline is October 31, 2025.
