GUWAHATI: The 68th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of New Art Players (NAP) was held recently at its new building premises. The meeting was presided over by club president Ajoy Kumar Datta. In the meeting, General Secretary Rathindra Narayan Bhattacharya and Secretary (Ladies Wing) Nirada Chakraborty submitted the yearly activities report for the year 2022–23, while Treasure Pulak Goswami presented the yearly accounts duly audited by the Charter Accountant. The members thoroughly examined the reports and thereafter accepted all the reports.
In the AGM, a 16-member strong executive committee was elected for the year 2023–25, with the following office-bearers: Ajoy Kumar Datta as president, Mallika Barua and Pulak Goswami as vice presidents, Rathindra Narayan Bhattacharya as general secretary, Amarjyoti Bhagawati and Utpal Goswami as assistant secretaries, Kalyan Kumar Das as treasurer, Nirada Chakraborty as secretary (ladies wing), Anupam Choudhury, Debojit Majumdar, Kalyan Kalita, Rupanta Das, Pradyut Bujarbaruah, Kuljit Barua, Tapas Datta, and Jayanta Sarma as executive committee members, stated a press release.
