STAFF REPORTER
GUWAHATI: A team of East Guwahati Police District (EPGD) from Sonapur Police Station seized 71 cattle and carcasses of four that were to be taken to Byrnihat, Meghalaya. The team intercepted two trucks bearing the registration numbers NL 01 A 5287 and AS 26 C 8927. The team arrested five smugglers identified as Md. Safikul Islam, Bhavesh Bordoloi, Md. Habibur Rahman, Ikramul Hussain, and Gakul Dutta.
