AAE, Assam imposes a restriction on visitors in view of coronavirus

GUWAHATI: In view of the emergent situation arising out of the coronavirus pandemic, Accountant General Assam has decided to stop issuance of visitor’s passes and prohibited entry to the Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement) and Account General (Audit Office premises with immediate effect till April 15 as precautionary measures.

According to a press release issued by the Office of the Accountant General (AAE) Assam, the restriction shall not be applicable to those visitors who intended to visit the AG (A&E) office for submission of monthly Treasury Accounts, District Council Accounts and Monthly Divisional Accounts and regular DAK Messenger, and in case of AG (Audit) office for emergency Office works subject to confirmation of the purpose of the visit.
