GUWAHATI: Absconding accused in the SI recruitment exam scam – Nripen Nath – surrendered before the court of special judge on Monday. The court remanded him to judicial custody. The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Assam Police had filed chargesheet against many people in the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment exam scam. In this chargesheet, Nripen Nath was marked as absconding.
