All Assam Students' Union to mark 50 years of medium of instruction stir

The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) will conduct a week-long statewide programme from November 3 next to commemorate 50 years of the medium of instruction movement.

GUWAHATI: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) will conduct a week-long statewide programme from November 3 next to commemorate 50 years of the medium of instruction movement.

A programme will be held in the city on November 3 on the theme of 'Madhyam Andolonor Swarnil Jatra'. All regional and university units of AASU will light 50 earthen lamps at a public place in their respective areas on that day. Between November 4 and November 10, all district units of AASU will organize lectures on the best ways to learn the mother tongue.
