GUWAHATI: The All Kamrup (Metro) District Students' Union (AKDSU) felicitated toppers of Higher Secondary and HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) examinations by visiting their respective residents on Tuesday.
Every year, the AASU centrally felicitate students of the State who excel in HS, HSLC, High Madrassa and UPSC examinations. It also felicitates institute heads who help such students to achieve the feat.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the AASU didn't organize the felicitation programme this year. Instead, the AASU has taken an initiative to visit the meritorious students and institute heads door-to-door to congratulate them on their success.
