APCC panel formed to take stock of Assam-Meghalaya boundary

The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) has formed a committee to take stock of the Assam-Meghalaya boundary.

GUWAHATI: The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) has formed a committee to take stock of the Assam-Meghalaya boundary.

APCC president Bhupen Bora constituted the committee to visit Mukroh where the situation is tense after the recent firing. The committee will visit the spot and interact with the local people and submit its report after a detailed study.

The members of the committee are APCC working president Rana Goswami, working president and MLA Jakir Hussain Sikdar, former MP and APCC vice president Dwijen Sarma, MLA Nandita Das, MLA Diganta Barman and MLA Abdul Baten Khandakar.
