The prohibitory order comes into effect immediately and will remain in force for the next two months or until further notice. Violators will face legal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Citizens affected by the directive can approach the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) to submit written objections for the cancellation or modification of the ex-parte order.
