Guwahati: USTM Chancellor Mahbubul Hoque again is in trouble, Hoque this time has been arrested by Dhekiajuli police in connection with a case registered at Dhekiajuli police station (Case No. 55/25, U/S 318(4)/316(5)/336(3) BNS, R/W Section 11(1) of the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024). This case was registered in the FIR lodged by Muksed Alom. According to sources, Hoque will be taken into Dhekiajuli police custody on Thursday and subsequently produced before the court. Now he is in judicial custody.
