Guwahati: During the 14-day lockdown period in Guwahati, the Assam State Transport Association (ASTC) will provide bus services to residents of Guwahati who have booked flight/train tickets to reach their respective airport or railway station by registering at the portal assamtransportrelief.in.
They may also contact the helpline, which will be operational from 10 am to 10 pm, for any assistance.
During this period, the bus services will be available from certain pickup points spread out across the city, from where the buses will ply to their respective destinations.
The pickup points are as follows:
The buses will operate from the pickup points at 5 am, 7 am, 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm.
Assam Transport Minister Chadramohan Patowary tweeted, "Train and flight passengers going out from Guwahati can register for ASTC bus service using the portal http://assamtransportrelief.in. Helplines have also been setup for assistance in registration."
