GUWAHATI, June 4: The Axom Xaitya Xabha in a meeting held on Monday at its office has extended support to the Assam Gana Parishad to intensify the movement against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016. On the other hand, in another meeting held at Swahid Nyas Bhawan, Uzan Bazar on the same day, the Book Publishers and Sellers’ Association also extended solidarity and support to the All Assam Students’ Union to strengthen the stir against the Bill.
