GUWAHATI: A Book entitled Renditions of a Shattered Soul written by Nischal Das was released on 28 December 2018. N.K. Chaudhury, former Vice Chancellor of Guwahati University, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Samudra Gupta Kashyap, Sr Journalist, The Indian Express and R C Deka, former Director, AIIMS, New Delhi attended the function as Guests of Honour. The distinguished guests cherished the young poet for his endless effort and encouraged him to continue with his hard work. Darimeka Kharbuli recited two poems from the newly released book.
