Brahmaputra flowing above danger mark in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: The Brahmaputra is flowing above the danger level in Guwahati. The water level of the river is still rising. The water level of the river read 49.81 metre at 6 pm on Sunday, and it rose to 49.87 metre at 6 am on Monday.

A Central Water Commission (CWC) official, Sadikul Hoque, said that at 12 noon on Monday the water level was 49.93 metre and at 6 pm it rose to 49.98 metre.
