PALASBARI: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Bishwa Sarma laid the foundation stone for two key projects in Rani Chapori today. A 250 metre pontoon bridge connecting Mojoli-Rani Chapori was inaugurated which is set to enhance connectivity and boost agriculture & the local economy at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore Another Electrification project was also inaugurated , which will support agricultural activities & benefit 400 families at a cost of Rs. 6.54 crore.
It may be mentioned here that the first Pontoon bridge will be built at Rani Chapari in Dharapur.
The farmers of Rani Chapari will receive land titles before Durga Puja, said the Chief Minister.
It may be stated that during his visit to Rani Chapori on January 14, Chief Minister assured swift action and in record time, these transformative projects were planned and initiated.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Assam Power Minister Prasanta Phukan and other officials.
