GUWAHATI: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has finalized its candidates for BTC (Bodoland Territorial Council) elections, on Monday. According to reports, the Congress will contest elections in 13 of the 40 constituencies. The name of the candidates are Momenur Islam for Guma (open), Sajal Kr. Singha for Srirampur (Non ST), Rukendra Nath Brahma for Baukhungri (ST), Binod Brahma for Kajalgaon (ST), Arun Narzary for Sobhaijar (ST), Biswajit Basumatary for Salbari (ST), Hiteshwar Rabha for Dihira (Open), Jesmin Begum for Nagrijuli (Non ST), Ramesh Boro for Goreswar (ST), Somnath Karzy for Nonoi Serfang (Non ST), Naba Jyoti Kurmi for Pasoi Serfang (Non ST), Premananda Brahma for Rowta (ST) and Pradip Kr. Daimary for Bhairakunda (ST).
