Contributions to CM’s & PM CARES continues to fight against COVID-19 pandemic

GUWAHATI: Expressing solidarity with the State Government initiatives to fight against COVID-19 pandemic, many institutions and individuals made a contribution to Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF), Assam Arogya Nidhi and PM CARES on Monday. This includes a contribution of Rs. 1.5 lakh by Minister of Handloom & Textiles Ranjit Dutta, Rs. 1.5 lakh by Minister of State for Tea Tribe Welfare Sanjay Kishan, Rs. 1.11 lakh by MP Biswajit Daimary, Rs. 1 lakh by MLA Prashanta Phukan, Rs. 1.5 lakh by MLA Suren Phukan, Rs. 80,000 by MLA Terash Gowalla, Rs. 5 lakh by Howli Rash Mahotshav Udjapan Samiti, Rs. 1 lakh by Assam Company India Limited, Rs. 51,000 by Sundardia Satra Managing Committee, Rs. 50 thousand by Indradhanu Enterprise, Rs. 50 thousand by NRHM Employees Association and Rs. 1 lakh by Akhim Hazarika. Moreover, many organizations and individuals also made contributions through online to Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF), Assam Arogya Nidhi and PM CARES on Monday, a press release said.
