GUWAHATI: Political parties, leaders, social organizations and others condoled the death of Burha Xatriya of Barpeta Xatra Basistha Dev Sarma on Saturday.
The Asom Satra Mahasabha (ASM), AASU (All Assam Students' Union), AGP president Atul Bora, Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, P&RD Minister Ranjit Kumar Das, Cultural Minister Bimal Borah, BJP president Bhabesh Kalita, APCC president Bhupen Bora, AIUDF president Badruddin Ajmal, AAMSU (All Assam Minority Students' Union), Barpeta MP Abdul Khaleque, former MP Kumar Dipak Das, AJYCP, TMC-Assam, AJP, Raijor Dal and others condoled the death of the Burha Xatriya.
