GUWAHATI: With the rainy season round the corner, a section of residents of the city have expressed doubts as to whether the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) will be able to carry out fogging operations on the required scale.
They pointed out that the GMC has only two fogging teams, which is inadequate for a large city like Guwahati.
It may be mentioned that apart from the GMC, fogging operations are also carried out in the city by personnel of the National Centre for Vector-Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC) under the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
