GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has completed around 90 per cent of the evaluation process and is likely to declare the HS 2nd year results within June 25, said a source from the department.

According to reports, out of the total 48 zones, while 6 zones have already completed the evaluation process and have submitted the papers to the AHSEC, 28 zones have checked 90 per cent of the copies, said the source. Further, the source said that the remaining 14 zones have completed the evaluation process; however, they are yet to submit the answer scripts to the AHSEC.

It is to be mentioned that, in 2019 the results were declared on May 25. The source underlined that because of the lockdown various evaluation zones were shut down. Later, the evaluation process was resumed after the Commissioner and the Secretary of the Education Department wrote a letter to various DCs asking them to take necessary measures and assist the teachers, the source asserted.
