GUWAHATI: Students desirous of getting admitted in undergraduate courses in different higher education institutions in the State now have a reason to cheer as a final chance to enroll is being offered.
The office of the Director of Higher Education, Assam issued a notification on Monday, September 11, according to which, the Assam Higher Education Admission portal will be opened for a final round of admissions. The notice also included a time-line for the process of applications and admissions through the portal.
The time-line stipulates that the date for cancellation of admission of students who have communicated to the institutions about their admission in other Institution through CUET or other means of selection is September 11, 2023. The notice also informs that the date for submitting application in the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal is September 12 to 14. The timeline for spot admission (offline) subject to vacancy of seats is given as September 13 to 15, 2023. The timeline provided for updation of fee waiver details in the portal is between September 11 and September 15. It is also informed that the timeline for final modification/ correction/updation of discrepancies in admissions, if any, is to be done in the portal on September 16 and September 17, 2023.
The notice applies to all higher educational institutions in Assam offering UG courses and all of these have been instructed to strictly comply with the timeline mentioned.
