GUWAHATI: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) and four other organizations have extended their support to the All Assam Primary TET Qualified Teachers' Association's programme to gherao the Sarba Siksha Abiyan (SSA) directorate in Kahilipara here tomorrow to press for redressal of its various demands.
The other organizations include the Assam State Primary Teachers' Association, the All Assam MV School Teachers' Association, the All Assam Gorkha Students' Union (AAGSU) and the Assam Tea Tribe Students' Association (ATTSA).
According to All Assam Primary TET Qualified Teachers' Association sources, all the five other organizations have given written assurances of their support to the gherao programme and will sent their representatives to the protest site.
