DIMORIA: The gaon burah of a village has detained after rape allegations were levelled against him. Maheshwar Deori of Bamfor village, who is the gaon burah of Kahikuchi lat, allegedly raped a physically challenged girl on Monday.
The victim later told her family members who informed the police. Maheshwar Deori was detained by police for interrogation. A case (179/21) has been registered under Khetri PS.
