Governor opens oncology centre
GUWAHATI: Synchronizing with the Doctors' Day today, Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi unveiled a plaque to mark the inauguration of a Capacity Development Centre in Oncology of Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute at Raj Bhavan today. The centre has been constructed with a financial outlay of Rs. 4 crore which has been donated by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as a part of its corporate social responsibility, a press release said.
