Guwahati: 10 Assam government employees honoured in state

The Government of Assam, on Monday, announced the recipients of the State-Level and District-Level Lok Sewa Puraskar 2025, honouring non-gazetted employees from various departments across the state

GUWAHATI: The Government of Assam, on Monday, announced the recipients of the State-Level and District-Level Lok Sewa Puraskar 2025, honouring non-gazetted employees from various departments across the state.

A total of 10 employees have been selected for the State-Level Lok Sewa Puraskar, while 59 have been named for the District-Level awards. The list of awardees was released by the General Administration Department and approved by the Governor of Assam. The awards recognize individuals for their exceptional dedication and contributions to public service.

The recipients of the State-Level Lok Sewa Puraskar 2025 are as follows: Angkur Narayan Das, Leading Fireman – Fire & Emergency Services, Assam; Bir Bahadur Ray, Multi Tasking Staff – Chief Minister’s Office; Chinmoy Borah, Senior Assistant – Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam; Deepjyoti Bania, Assistant Section Officer – Finance Department; Dhrubajyoti Patowary, Assistant Section Officer – Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship Department; Kirti Bordoloi, Senior Assistant – Assam Police Headquarters; Marina Gogoi, Assistant Section Officer – Personnel Department; Mira Basumatary, Junior Administrative Assistant – General Administration Department; Neelakshi Bordoloi, Assistant Section Officer – Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs Department and Rajesh Nag, Junior Administrative Assistant – Home & Political Department.

The awards will be formally presented at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra on the occasion of Lok Kalyan Diwas.
