Guwahati: A man and a woman were apprehended on Wednesday evening after the police recovered a substantial quantity of suspected cannabis from their residence in Ganeshpara. Based on source-based intelligence, a team from Fatasil Ambari Police Station, under the supervision of ACP Azara, conducted a search operation at around 8 pm. During the raid, approximately 6.8 kilogram of suspected ganja were seized from the premises. The arrested individuals have been identified as Jiten Garh (52) and Manu Garh (37), who are reportedly a couple. Further investigation is underway.
