GUWAHATI: The Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi. The MoU aims to foster joint curriculum development, training programmes, knowledge sharing, and best practices to enhance administrative training and capacity building for civil servants in Assam.
The agreement was signed by Riju Gogoi, Director of Training, AASC, and Surendra Nath Tripathi (Retd.), Director General, IIPA, in the presence of senior officials from both institutions. According to the MoU, IIPA will aid AASC in research and policy analysis, collaborative research projects, policy advisory services, capacity-building initiatives, joint conferences, and symposia.
MoU is further committed to sharing the facilities and logistics of both institutions for administrative training-related purposes, and it also includes sharing best practices and documenting case studies, stated a press release.
