GUWAHATI: A delegation of the All India Services Pensioners’ Cell (AISP Cell), Assam-Meghalaya Cadre, Assam Unit, Guwahati, met the Additional Director, Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), at the CGHS Office, Rehabari, Guwahati, on May 27. The meeting was held in the first-floor conference room of the CGHS office.
The purpose of the meeting was to raise and discuss key issues and concerns faced by CGHS beneficiaries following the recent transition from NIC to CDAC as the technology service provider, which came into effect from April 28, 2025. The delegation expressed the challenges encountered during this switch-over, particularly those affecting pensioners and other senior citizens relying on CGHS facilities for essential healthcare services.
A detailed memorandum outlining these concerns and suggested remedial measures was submitted by the delegation for onwards transmission to the Director General, CGHS, Government of India, New Delhi, through the Additional Director, CGHS, Guwahati.
