Guwahati: BJP workers tune in to Mann Ki Baat at booths level

Lakhs of BJP workers on Sunday listened to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at 29,565 booths under 433 mandals in 39 organizational districts of the state BJP

Guwahati: Lakhs of BJP workers on Sunday listened to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at 29,565 booths under 433 mandals in 39 organizational districts of the state BJP, including at the party headquarters at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan in Guwahati.

A statement was issued from the party headquarters stating, “Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, state president Dilip Saikia, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Pabitra Margherita, BJP national secretary Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, all ministers of the state government, all BJP MLAs and MPs, as well as state and district office bearers of the party listened to Mann Ki Baat’ at booths designated by the party.”

The statement further said, “Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma listened to Mann Ki Baat together with the district president and other activists at booth No. 139 of the Airport booth in Guwahati Metropolitan District of the party. Party president Dilip Saikia attended at booth No. 182 in Sivasagar, and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal was present at booth No. 179 in Dibrugarh Central Mandal.”

A Tiranga Yatra was organized at every booth after the Mann Ki Baat programme.
