Guwahati: City Police Arrest Miscreants, Recovered Stolen Items

GUWAHATI: Gorchuk police, acting on a tip-off, arrested notorious thieves Manoj Boro (Pamohi) and Akash Sarkar (Gorolla), leading to the recovery of seven stolen LPG cylinders from them.

Further investigation led to the arrest of two receivers of the stolen cylinder, Rajib Barman (Tihu) and Dipak Choudhury (Nalbari).

Fatasil Ambari police conducted a raid last evening in Ganeshpara, seizing 95 litres of illegally stocked IMFL from one Bidya Boro. The accused and the consignment have been handed over to the Excise Department for further legal action.

Following an investigation into a case of burglary, Basistha PS arrested two veteran burglars—Enamul Ali, aka Babu (22), of Samaguri, and Rajib Nath, aka Tiku (19), of Lalmati.
