Guwahati: The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA), Guwahati regional office and the GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) conducted a drive against retailers and stockists and others dealing with single-use plastics in Fancy Bazar and Bamunimaidam Colony Bazar since yesterday. They imposed fines against ten shopkeepers and seized 20 kg of single-use plastics during the two-day drive.
